JULY 18: Shattuck Park in Neenah to Lutz Park in Appleton
In its 20th year, this is the paddle that started it all. Tour Neenah, Menasha and Appleton by water. The route includes plenty of variety, including open water, the Fox River channel and a small bit of Lake Winnebago. The trip for many years included a colorful array of kayaks and canoes crammed in for passage through the Menasha Lock. A small, invasive fish has caused the lock to be closed, so instead we portage around it with help from the Menasha soccer team.
