Shattuck Park to Lutz Park - July 22  P2PLock05

The granddaddy of our paddle series, Park-to-Park gives paddlers a taste of river paddling and the open water of a small piece of Lake Winnebago. Plans still call for the Menasha Lock to be closed. If that is the case on the day of the paddle, we will portage around it. We are trying to get the assistance of a youth group to help with the portage. (Bring along some tip money.) The Lower Fox displays some of the area's most dramatic houses on the way to the landing at Lutz Park and an after-paddle refreshment at the Appleton Yacht Club.

You will register and pay at the launch. Paddles cost $10 per paddler; under 16 free with an adult. Make registration go faster. Fill out your ACA Adult Waiver of ACA Youth Waiver in advance and bring it to the landing. This is a good time to become a member of NEWP for $10 per year.
