Waupaca Chain Paddle-May 4

Knight Road Landing to Clearwater Harbor and back

This quieter section of the Waupaca Chain of Lakes has become a popular spot for kayakers -- perhaps too popular. We're going early when the usage is less and the water is higher. One short section near the start may require that you get out and walk your boat.

We will venture out into the main part of the chain. Our trip takes us from the Knight Lake Landing to Clearwater Harbor restaurant for lunch, and then back again.

Please let us know! Tap the button to notify us. It helps us plan but doesn't commit you to the

trip. You will register and pay at the launch. This paddle costs $10 per participant; under 16 free with an adult. Make registration go faster. Fill out this online fillable form for the ACA Adult Waiver or ACA Minor Waiver in advance abd bring it to the landing. This is a good time to become a member of NEWP for $10 per year plus $25 for ACA (American Canoe Association) membership.
