White River Dam to Berlin - May 19
This trip begins at the White River Dam, near Princeton and continues downriver to River Side Park in the City of Berlin, WI. Camping in the park has been a popular option in past year paddles of this route, followed by dinner at Izzy's Pub in downtown Berlin.
Berlin to Omro - May 20
This weekend trip continues Sunday morning, launching from River Side Park in Berlin and continuing down the Fox River to Stearns Park in the City of Omro, 13 miles. There will be a stop for lunch at mile 7 in at the boat landing in Eureka (restrooms available). In past years, this particular stretch has been considered among the best for birdwatchers and offers a steady current to help keep our group moving along, too! No planned after-paddle activity, but some paddlers are occasionally spotted enjoying fresh ice cream at the Cheese House American Diner in downtown Omro.
BEFORE THE PADDLE
- Please let us know! Tap the button above to let us know to count you in. It helps us plan but doesn't commit you to the trip. You will register and pay your $10 per person at the launch (under 16 free with an adult).
- Make registration go faster. Fill out this online fillable form for the ACA Adult Waiver or ACA Youth Waiver in advance and bring it to the landing. This is a good time to become a member of NEWP for $10 per year.
