Waupaca County Q to Brainard's Bridge Park- Saturday, May 5 ↵
This trip is not recommended for novice paddlers. The Waupaca runs swift and clean and offers many segments for good day trips. We're going to launch west of Waupaca where the river crosses under CTH Q and travel just over 7 miles to Brainard's Bridge Park. Along the way, we will encounter some class 1 rapids and a number of rock gardens. This may be the paddle to take your plastic boat and leave the wood or Kevlar at home. We'll follow U.S. 10 at times and pass under a covered bridge.
